Details:
As we celebrate Americas 250th birthday, join local historian Jim Segrave-Daly for a lively discussion about how Philadelphia celebrated the Bicentennial. Despite the difficulties America experienced with the end of the Vietnam War, Watergate, the economy other issues, hopes were high that Bicentennial celebrations would help to bring the country together. Although Philadelphia was in the spotlight, local celebrations were memorable. Bicentennial memorabilia will be on display. You are welcome to bring your own!
