September – 17STRONG on Wheels: Sunset Ride
Join us for the September edition of 17STRONG on Wheels. Our first-ever Sunset Cruise ride! We’ll gather at Municipal Brew Works at 6:30 PM, take a group photo at 6:45 PM, and roll out promptly at 6:58 PM. The route takes us to Rentschler Forest MetroPark, where we’ll regroup with our Friends at Butler County Metro Parks, near the restrooms and picnic shelter around 7:25–7:35 PM before turning back. The return ride is timed so we’ll be heading west just as the sun sets at 7:58 PM, making for a beautiful evening on the trails.
This is a relaxed, social ride covering about 12 miles total, and all levels of riders are welcome. Go at your own pace and turn back if needed. Helmets are recommended but not required. Please bring a water bottle, and since we’ll finish during twilight (civil twilight ends around 8:22 PM), bike lights or reflective gear are encouraged for safety.
After the ride, plan to stick around downtown. Local businesses will be open for food and drinks to keep the evening going. This event is free, but registration is required. Invite a friend and join us for a perfect late-summer night on two wheels!
