Wichita County New World Screwworm Informational Seminar

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host an informational seminar on the New World Screwworm on June 22 in Wichita Falls. The event is free, but an RSVP is requested by calling the AgriLife Extension Office in Wichita County at 940-716-8610 by June 19. The seminar is open to 4-H members and parents, FFA members and parents and members of the community. A panel discussion will be held with an official from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, a small animal veterinarian and a large animal veterinarian to discuss with youth about New World screwworm concerns as it pertains to companion animals, livestock and wildlife.
