Raccoon Creek State Park is one of Pennsylvania's largest and most visited state parks, encompassing 7,572 acres. Originally established as a Recreational Demonstration Area in the 1930s, it features the 101-acre Raccoon Lake and offers a wide range of recreational activities. These include hiking, biking, boating, fishing, hunting, swimming, and picnicking. The park also boasts a Wildflower Reserve, known for its diverse plant species, and historical elements from its Civilian Conservation Corps era.
