Registration Deadline: Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:59 pm
Fish Violations:Â Report immediately to Cherokee Police Department by calling 828-497-4131.
Fishing Hours: 30 minutes prior to sunrise until 30 minutes after sunset.
Tag Turn in Time: 2 – 4 PM each respective tournament day at Island Park
Required at turn-in: Bring your TAG (fish not required), a Valid FISHING PERMIT for BOTH days of the tournament (even if you only plan to fish one day), and a Valid TOURNAMENT PERMIT. You will be required to fill out a W-9 and a photo release form, both of which will be available at tag turn-in.
Register Online at www.fishcherokee.com or at a local permit vendor. Find a map on Fish Cherokee’s website to locate vendors, enterprise waters, trophy waters, and waters that are restricted to only enrolled members. See Fish Cherokee on Facebook for updates.
