America 250 Patriotic Window Decorating Competition & Walking Tour

Downtown Brevard is decked out in red, white, and blue as more than 25 local businesses compete in the America 250 Patriotic Window Decorating Competition. Take a stroll through downtown, enjoy the creativity on display, and vote for your favorite window as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and our community’s hometown spirit.
Downtown Brevard is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary in a big way! More than 25 local businesses have transformed their storefronts into patriotic displays as part of the America 250 Patriotic Window Decorating Competition.
Throughout June, residents and visitors are invited to stroll downtown, explore the decorated storefronts, and cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award. Along the way, you’ll discover creative displays competing for Best Use of Merchandise, Best Interpretation of the America 250 Theme, Best Use of Red, White & Blue, and the coveted Hometown Spirit Award. While the People’s Choice Award will be decided by public voting, the remaining award categories will be judged by a panel of local community leaders and hometown celebrities.
This month-long celebration is a fun way to experience downtown Brevard while shopping local businesses that make our community so special. Grab a beverage, take a walk, enjoy the creativity on display, and celebrate the history, pride and hometown spirit that define Brevard.
