Dancing on the Square with Bill Pruett's Carolina Bluegrass Band

Dancing on the Square is a cherished Friday night tradition in Robbinsville, NC, celebrating Southern Appalachian music and dance from May 15 through August 28. This year features an expanded lineup, including the legendary Bill Pruett's Carolina Bluegrass Band, known for its rich history in bluegrass music. Pruett, a notable banjo player, has played with icons like Bill Monroe and has a passion for old-time music. Two special America 250 Square Dance Nights, featuring Grammy-nominated musician Darren Nicholson and dance caller Heidi Kulas, will take place on June 19 and August 28, encouraging dancers of all ages and skill levels to join in. Despite rain, the fun continues indoors at the Graham County Community Building.
