Rock The Lot 2026 – Hohenwald’s Official America 250 Celebration

Join us on Saturday, July 4, 2026 for the 8th Annual Rock The Lot in downtown Hohenwald as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with an unforgettable evening of music, family fun, and fireworks!
FREE Admission – Thanks to the City of Hohenwald & Friends of the Lewis County Public Library and Archives!
Event Schedule:
4:00-6:00 PM – FREE Family Activities
5:15 PM – Veteran Honor Ride Boarding Begins
5:30 PM – Veteran Honor Ride
6:00 PM – Rhiannon: The Stevie Nicks Experience
7:00 PM – The Wildflowers – America's #1 Tom Petty Tribute

Fireworks Finale – Following the Concert (approximately 9:00 PM)
Bring lawn chairs and plan to spend the evening with us!
Family Fun for All Ages:
Bring the whole family and enjoy an afternoon of FREE activities before the concert begins, including train rides, waterslides, face painting, and balloon twisting. Activities are available from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Free Children's Book Giveaway:
Children attending Rock The Lot can receive a free Revolutionary War/America 250-themed book while supplies last. Books are provided through TN250 grant funding and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Honoring Our Veterans:
The 2026 Rock The Lot is dedicated to all military veterans and their families. A special tribute will be held during the event as we honor those who have served and protected our freedoms.
Veterans and their immediate families are invited to participate in a special Veteran Honor Ride aboard the Christmas in Hohenwald Express. Boarding begins at 5:15 PM, and the train departs at 5:30 PM for an extended ride through Hohenwald.
Veterans attending the event will also receive a commemorative patriotic pin in recognition of their service while supplies last.
Food & Refreshments:
Come hungry! A variety of food vendors will be on site offering BBQ, loaded fries, lemonade, ice cream, cotton candy, shaved ice, and more.
Food Vendors Include:
Cotton Candy Kid, Main Street Sips, Ooh-La-La New Orleans Style Shaved Ice, Kettle Corn Crew, Bri's Homemade Ice Cream, Springer's Fried Pies, Ms. Berry's, TC's Fun Foods, Volunteer Fry Co., and 4B Concessions.
