The E. J. Cottrell Memorial Library serves as a community center, offering a safe space for residents and children to seek help, be welcomed, and feel protected. It provides resources for meetings, homework, research, community dinners, and various programs for both children and adults. The library also offers public computers, printing, fax services, and a delivery service for homebound patrons. It was established in 1921 and was the first library in Western NY to become a Village Post Office.
