This summer, immerse yourself in Waupaca's rich history by visiting two local gems: the Depot and Hutchinson House Museum. The Depot is open every weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., where visitors can explore artifacts and stories from the community's railroad past, tour a caboose, the Soo Line potato car, and the car barn featuring the Waupaca trolley's baggage car. Admission is free, making it a perfect stop for families and local history enthusiasts. Meanwhile, the Hutchinson House Museum, also open on weekends from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., invites you to step back into the Victorian era and discover Waupaca's oldest home, complete with special activities for children.
