I LOVE nothing better than sewing with a group of people in a retreat type atmosphere. Would you like to join me? I will be providing support for your projects. But WAIT.... there is more.... much more. This day not only includes an open sew retreat day, we will also have:
*Coffee, tea and a morning snack
*A hot lunch prepared by the in house Chef with a meat, a side and a soup or salad - menu varies each month but always delicious!
*iced tea, lemonade and water
*A wine tasting and or a glass of wine
*A view of the bay from the 900 feet of waterfront on the 103 acre estate
*An afternoon surprise of something sweet
Sewing will take place in the newly built Event Center Ballroom where large wedding receptions take place, so we will have plenty of room to spread out. If the weather cooperates, there are three sides to this event center that open up for lots of beautiful fresh air and the feeling of being completely outside!
Bring your sewing machine, supplies/tools including cutting mat, ironing pad/iron and extension cords, table light, along with your wonderful projects, of course. Feel free to bring a side table for ironing if you wish and a fan if the temperatures are high, and a light can be very handy! Take a stroll and enjoy the view of the water or walk among the vines and admire the beautiful fruit.
