Details:
The Arlington Historical Museum is excited to host two significant temporary exhibits in celebration of Arlington's 250th anniversary: "We the People" and "Arlington Changemakers 250." Opening on July 12, "We the People," a traveling exhibition from the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, explores the diverse experiences of immigrants who have shaped Virginia from the colonial era to today, showcasing the profound impact of immigration on the Commonwealth’s culture, economy, and identity through stories, images, and historical materials. Alongside this, "Arlington Changemakers 250" highlights local leaders, advocates, educators, and innovators who have influenced the community’s history, encouraging reflection on individual impacts. Both exhibits invite visitors to delve into Arlington's rich heritage and are open to the public for free every Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from 1 PM to 4 PM.
