Who says the kids get to have all the fun? This summer, the Suffern Library invites you to rediscover the thrill of a great story with our Adult Summer Reading Club: Unearth a Story: Digging for Information. Whether you’re a fan of gripping thrillers or deep-dive non-fiction, you can earn prizes for books you read and review. Beyond the books, we’ve designed a seasonal lineup featuring live concerts, creative writing workshops, and historical events celebrating America's 250th Anniversary. Whether you’re looking to master a new database or simply enjoy a quiet afternoon with a new favorite author, we’re ready to help you unearth something extraordinary this summer.
The journey begins at our Breaking Ground Bash and concludes with a celebratory Red, White, And READ BBQ, with plenty of digging in between.
Simply stop by the Adult Information Desk between June 8 and July 31 to register and pick up your complimentary welcome bag, complete with activity sheets.
Registration for the Adult Summer Reading Program is restricted to Suffern and Sloatsburg library cardholders only. This is due to limited supplies.
