Book Buddies

Book Buddies at Haverstraw King’s Daughters Public Library is a volunteer program in which teens (grades 7-12) work with children (grades 1-4) to foster better reading skills. In addition to reading and listening, there is built-in time for playing some word and reading-focused games!

Teen volunteers must apply to register.

Please note - parent or guardian remains in the room during this program. Siblings will be allowed to stay in the room.

PLEASE NOTE: This program will be taking place on every Monday and Wednesday in July at our Main Branch from 5-6:30PM. It will also be taking place on Saturday, July 11th at the Main Branch from 12-4PM.
