Learn how old-fashioned scavenger hunts evolved to meet 21st-Century technology with geocaching. This session teaches the basics of how to get started and where to hunt and provides tips, tricks, and rules of the game. Participants will have a chance to do some hunting right here on William Hall property! We will meet in the auditorium (look for the auditorium entrance ramp on the northwest corner of the building) and then move outside, weather permitting.
Free and open to the public. Registration is not required but those who register at least three days prior to the event will receive an email reminder. Register below or contact the library for assistance.
Heidi Blais has been geocaching since 2013. She loves being outdoors, traveling, and exploring new places, and especially enjoys finding geocaches along hiking trails. Heidi is the librarian at Cranston High School East and when she is not working or caching, she is most likely spending time with her husband and three daughters, savoring food & drinks at local restaurants, or listening to live music.
