Join us for "The American Revolution: Our War for Independence, 1775-1783," as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of American Freedom with Randy Baker. In this engaging presentation, Randy will be in uniform and showcase a variety of artifacts while exploring the causes of the American Revolution, its global impact, and the life of a soldier, including their meals, pay, living conditions, and hardships. Discover intriguing elements that contributed to our independence, such as the colonial submarine known as "the turtle," a fungus, and an insect. This program is designed for students in grades 4-12 and will take place in the fall. For more information, call (586) 226-5030 or register at cmpl.libnet.info/event/15276285.
