Details:
Guests will have the opportunity to complete an activity in the STEM Center with the museum's education team. Public tours will take place throughout the day as well. Activity: Black Holes: Using balloons and aluminum foil, our educator will engage students in an interactive discussion about black holes, explaining what they are, how they form the science behind their incredible gravitational pull, and their role in the universe. Black Holes Times 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Guided tours: These last about 45 minutes and will take place at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. No RSVP required. Guests must pay general admission at entrance to join the tour and activity. Guests can join the activity or tours as they choose. Space is limited to 25 people for each activity or tour time slot.
