As the regional branch of Maui County, Kahului Library is actively working to preserve, promote, and perpetuate Hawaiian culture by collaborating with local cultural practitioners. Join us for a lauhala weaving class led by Leiana Sing-Keliikoa. Accompanied by special guests, Leiana will be instructing us in the ancient Hawaiian practice of lauhala weaving. Suited for adults and youths. All skill levels, no prior experience required.
Program is scheduled between 2:00p-4:00p.
Registration required; limited to 8 attendees per class.
