Happy June! Our June First Friday is Heroes Among Us! Visit the downtown area, our local businesses and restaurants, and enjoy the many activities. This First Friday will feature: Main Street Wadsworth -Who’s Your Hero Wall — Write, draw, or share a message about a special hero in your life. The wall will grow throughout the evening as a powerful tribute to the people who make a difference! -Touch A Truck — Kids can explore emergency vehicles, service trucks, and equipment up close. Meet the professionals who operate them and learn how these tools help keep our community safe. In partnership with the City of Wadsworth. -Coins for Courage — Visit our giving station where you can donate spare change to support local safety initiatives and community programs. Every coin helps build a stronger, safer Wadsworth! -Super Hero Meet & Greet — Beloved costumed heroes will be downtown for photos, high‑fives, and fun interactions! -Check out the Firetruck pull presented by the Blue Tip Festival .-Grab a seat in the Pocket Park for the first summer concert of the season! Aftermath Experience the 60's will be play from 7:00-9:00 p.m.! American Red Cross of Greater Akron & The Mahoning Valley -Stop by their booth on College Street and sign up for free smoke alarms to be installed in your home and have children learn about home fire safety through various activity sheets. They will have candy and a variety of giveaways while supplies last. The BookShelf by Project Learn -The bookstore will be extending hours to stay open. They are happy to share with the community their newly painted entry way and hallway. Select authors are buy one get one for the month of June! Come in to see if your favorite author is offering a buy one get one. Let every adult read now! EMA -Will be at the event on College Street! First Christian Church -Will be in front of M.C. Real Estate with body tattoos, candy, bean bag tosses, and bubbles! Grace Lutheran Church -Stop by the Church for hero bites, tattoos, a photo opp, and sidewalk chalk! Howard Hanna
-Will have special guest, Bradley’s Saving Grace there! They just rescued the pup Tilly recently! And more to be determined.
LifeSong Anglican Church
-Make poster size large thank you cards for the EMT, Police, and Fire Department heroes who serve our community. They will deliver these on the Monday following First Friday.
Medina County Metro Parks Police Department
-Stop by College Street where the Medina County Metro Parks who will have a vehicle and boat.
Medina County Safe Communities
-Will be in front of the Wadsworth Community Radio Station with safe and sober driving education and overall traffic safety messaging.
Medina County Sheriff's Office
-Stop by the Medina County Sheriff's Office on College Street.
Montville Police Department
-Visit the Montville Police Department's tent on College Street. They will have the evidence truck and e-bike!
Medina County State Highway Patrol Post
-Will be at the event with a few troopers and vehicles on College Street.
Quaint
-Small LED safety flashlights for the kiddos. Refreshed 40% off clearance closet for the adults. Open until 8:00p.m.!
Salvation Army
-Celebrate National Donut Day with them and grab a free donut while supplies last in front of the Wadsworth Community Radio Station.
Trinity UCC
-Will have an activity table for the June First Friday in front of Subway. There will be an activity that youth can participate in!

-Stop in for free face painting (tips encouraged) and a free gift for the 1st 50 Dads!
Urban Cottage
-Head to Urban Cottage for plastic fire hats and flags for the children and 10% off total purchases.
Wadsworth Fire Department
-Will have their engine, ladder, ambulance and UTV on College Street!
Wadsworth Music
-They will be open until 6:30 p.m.. Stop in to see what’s new!
Wadsworth Police Department FOP
-Will be bringing a dunk tank to the event!
Wadsworth Square Foundation/Celestia Theatre
-At 5:00 p.m. the Patio and Beer Garden are open with special happy hour prices from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.! The Patio will be open until 10:00 p.m.
-Then at 8:00 p.m. Mamma Mania takes the stage with an amazing tribute to Abba direct from New York City!
-All Police Officers & Firefighters get a a free pair of tickets to the show. Just come to the Wadsworth Square Foundation Box Office Tuesday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to get your tickets with your ID.
