Dirty Diggers: Homemade Green Pasta

Join us for "Dirty Diggers: Homemade Green Pasta," part of NMPL’s hands-on gardening program for kids. Young gardeners will engage in gardening activities, including preparing garden beds and planting vegetables, herbs, and flowers while learning to nurture a growing garden from seed to harvest. This exciting program allows participants to explore the natural world right outside the library doors. As our garden thrives, children will discover how to create flavorful and visually appealing homemade noodles using leafy greens and herbs. They will learn the art of mixing, kneading, and rolling their own pasta, culminating in a delicious meal made from their hard work. The program is free, open to all ages, and requires no registration. It will take place on the Library Lawn and in the Blocher Community Room, sponsored by the T-Mobile Hometown Grant.
