As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: “Rocky.” Complete with sass from the audience, cascading toilet paper, and an array of other audience participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock-n-roll sci-fi gothic musical is more fun than ever. FRANK N FURTER Mad scientist and leader of the castle. A hospitable host. Welcomes Brad and Janet with open arms. Obsessed with creating a perfect creature to be a part of his sexual entourage. Master of seduction. Must be comfortable in drag. Vocal range: Baritone, D3-G4 BRAD MAJORS Quirky and campy. Very much in love with his fiancé, Janet. Falls quickly to the mercy of the Transylvanians. Vocal range: Bari-tenor, Bb2-G4
JANET WEISS Good girl who is madly in love with Brad. Caves into pressure easily, always wanting more (and more and more) Vocal range: Mezzo Soprano Belt, A3-Eb5
RIFF RAFF Creepy butler who often makes harmless conversation seem awkward and foreboding. Magenta’s brother. One of Frank’s most trusted servants. Vocal range: High Rock Tenor, D3-B4
MAGENTA Sultry maid in the castle. Riff Raff’s sister. They’re…very close. One of Frank’s servants.. Vocal range: Mezzo Soprano Belt: Bb3-Eb5
COLUMBIA One of Frank’s servants. Missing their ex-lover Eddie and is working through those feelings. Vocal range: Mezzo Soprano Belt, E4-E5
ROCKY Frank’s magnificent creation. The object of desire. Must be comfortable in little clothing. Vocal range: Tenor, A3-A4
EDDIE A delivery person who misses the rock-n-roll life. Comes back to the castle for a brief but memorable occasion. Vocal range: Baritone, E3-F#4
DR. SCOTT Brad and Janet’s high school science teacher. Gets wrapped into the schemes of the Transylvanians because of his nephew. Vocal range: Baritone, E3-F#4
NARRATOR throughout the story. Speaks directly to audience.
PHANTOMS/USHERETTE Fellow aliens and Transylvanians, performing at Frank’s beck and call. Will sing and dance throughout entire show.

The audition will consist of:
- cold reading from the script
- a one-minute vocal selection of your choice in the style of the show (please bring a track recording to sing along with—karaoke tracks welcome). Please do not sing from the show.
- Dance Audition will consist of the following:
- One short selection learned PRIOR to dance auditions (posted here by August 2nd)
- One short dance selection taught at auditions. Come prepared to move!

We will begin rehearsals the week of Aug. 30th.
Rehearsals will be 3ish times a week leading up to the show, with the days of the week determined by cast availability. As this is an ensemble show, cast will be expected to be at most rehearsals, although uniquely to ROCKY, the leads frequently get called less at the beginning of the process.
Please bring a list of all conflicts during the rehearsal period to the auditions.
