Sweet Creek Falls Trail Party - Central Coast

Join TKO and the Siuslaw Watershed Council for the Sweet Creek Falls Trail Party on the Central Coast! This event invites volunteers to help improve a picturesque trail through a beautiful forest setting. Led by Crew Leaders Noelle and Eli, the crew size will be capped at 12 participants. Expect to hike a moderate distance of 1-2 miles, with an elevation gain of 100 feet, as we engage in tread work at a gentle pace and take breaks for lunch.

We will meet at the first Sweet Creek Falls trailhead and hike approximately 0.5 miles to the worksite, which features a mostly even trail with some gentle ups and downs. Please plan to stay for the entire duration of the event for safety reasons. Important details, including meeting location directions, will be provided via email 48 hours prior to the event.

What to bring: plenty of water, snacks or lunch, personal work gloves (loaner gloves available), emergency medications, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a pack for your belongings. Sturdy boots are required, along with long-sleeved shirts and pants, with rain gear and sun protection as needed based on weather conditions.
