Details:
Shirley Heinze Land Trust and the Chesterton Art Center are collaborating to offer Field Studies, a program that connects nature and creativity. Begin the day with a guided 2-mile hike at Meadowbrook Nature Preserve led by Shirley Heinze staff member, Bella Santana.
Following the hike, participants will head to the covered pavilion for a Plein Air painting workshop. Over the course of the 90-minute workshop, local artist Jen Aitchison will guide participants as they observe, sketch, and paint with gouache, inspired by the landscape around them.
