Details:
Step into the world of dinosaur science and become a junior paleontologist! In this hands-on STEM activity, children will use their creativity to recreate dinosaur skeletons using pasta. Working from pictures or dinosaur fossil figures as examples, kids will explore how different skeletal structures support each dinosaur’s unique shape. This program combines science, art, and critical thinking to create skeletons. Once the design is planned, children will glue pasta pieces onto construction paper, creating their very own “dinosaur fossils.” This promises to be an engaging way to bring prehistoric creatures to life!
This program is intended for those heading into Grades K-5. Located in the Children's Program Room.
If your child needs a special accommodation, please contact juliab@lowermaclib.org ahead of time and we would be more than happy to assist!
