57th Annual International Convention
The Illumination: Freeing the African Spirit
July 29 – August 1, 2026
Morgan State University, Baltimore, Maryland
Building on the success of last year’s 56th Convention, this year’s gathering will continue to advance the discourse on African-centered psychological frameworks and strategies for collective well-being, hallmarks of ABPsi conventions worldwide.
The 57th Annual International Convention, “The Illumination: Freeing the African Spirit,” will deepen our exploration of Spirit, liberation, and transformation in the lives of African people. This year’s experience will expand through community engagement, dynamic media programming, and sacred spaces for learning, restoration, and cultural celebration, all grounded in the legacy and principles of African/Black Psychology.
