Welcome to Capulin Volcano National Monument's Annual Volcano Festival! On August 7 and 8, 2026 between 10 AM and 2 PM, come out to the park and join us in celebration of volcanoes. Here at Capulin Volcano, visitors have the opportunity to drive to the top of an extinct cinder cone volcano and walk around the rim and walk inside the crater.
Activities for all ages will be available in the visitor center. All outdoor programs are weather dependent.
