Free Summer Meals in Prospect Park

Join us this summer for a variety of exciting programs at Prospect Park! From June 29 to September 4, enjoy **Free Summer Meals** provided by the NYC Department of Education for youth ages 18 and under, available every day at the Parkside and Ocean Avenue entrance. Meals can be collected from the food truck on weekdays from 10 AM to 4 PM and weekends from 10 AM to 3 PM (except July 3 and 4).

In addition to delicious meals, get involved with the **Summer Spruce Up** volunteer series hosted by Prospect Park Alliance. Volunteers ages 14 and older can help with invasive plant removal, trail maintenance, and litter pickup. Each session occurs at a different location, and participants will receive reminders upon RSVP.

Don't miss out on our **Nature Exploration: Lake Appreciation** event in July, filled with family-friendly activities at Brooklyn's only lake. Discover the underwater ecosystem during **Pond Water Discovery**, meet water-dwelling creatures during the **Animal Encounter**, and participate in a clean-up **Nature on the Go!** walk around the lake. Families are invited to join the **Prospect Park Stroller Walk** for a scenic stroll along the waterways starting at 10 AM from the Prospect Park Boathouse.
