Join us at Fremont Main Library for a Creative Reuse Workshop with LEAF ! LEAF is a local educational nonprofit empowering people to learn, connect, and grow food together. Turn old T-shirts into something new! In this workshop you will learn how to make a simple friendship bracelet using yarn created from recycled T-shirts. Supplies for this workshop will be provided. This workshop is designed for children ages 8 and up . Seats are limited . Tickets are free and will be distributed at the Children's Information desk 15 minutes before the program. Why reuse? Through Creative Reuse we save material that would have been discarded and gone to waste. Instead, we give it new life and put it to good use to create something new! Continue the (re) cycle. Please bring any clean T-shirts that you would like to donate for use in our future craft projects! Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests! An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org .
