Details:
Join Alameda County Vector Control to learn more about the unique habitats, behaviors, and challenges of the urban wildlife who explore our backyards. Learn about the pros and cons of wildlife like raccoons, skunks, and opossums living around our homes. We’ll show how we keep you and wildlife safe, sharing exciting videos and stories from our work. You’ll get the chance to try your hand at being a Vector Control Biologist and help solve cases from our work! Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org .
