Details:
Through the biannual training institutes and annual conference, Alabama clerks gain valuable opportunities to learn from experts and one another about best practices for municipal operations. The program provides practical solutions to common challenges and supports clerks in strengthening essential professional skills across all levels of local government. The CMC and MMC training institutes are held twice a year in Tuscaloosa, while the annual conference rotates locations across the state. The Clerk’s Fall Training Institute will be offered in person at Bryant Conference Center and will also be available via livestream.
Financial assistance is also available for attendees.
This training is not exclusive to municipal clerks — many individuals with similar job responsibilities attend. However, we do encourage you to join the Alabama Association for Municipal Clerks and Administrators.
