Details:
Many have heard of the "Mosquito Warrior" Dr. William Gorgas, but less is known about the nurse who gave her life for his research. Join us at the Gorgas House Museum from July 1 - September 25, 2026 to honor the life and legacy of Clara Maass and learn more about how her dedication to healing those around her saved the lives of millions.
This exhibit was researched by Caroline Meyerhoff (Bachelors of Arts in History, Class of 2029), designed by Hannah Spencer (Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science, 2026), and made possible by donations from Mr. Ron Howard.
