Join us for a series of engaging community events tailored for families and individuals of all ages!
- **Birth to Five Storytime**: Designed for early learners ages 0-5, this interactive session includes stories, music, movement, and rhymes to develop early literacy skills, followed by playtime. Older siblings are welcome to join.
- **Walking Wednesdays**: An energizing way to enhance your mood and connect with the community. Open to all ages and fitness levels, this walk takes place every Wednesday at 11:00 AM, rain or shine, starting in the lobby of the Lacey Library.
- **Kids Curiosity Club**: On Wednesdays from 11 AM to 12:30 PM throughout the summer, school-age kids, tweens, and families are invited to explore various topics with experts. Highlights include:
- *Curiosity Is a Superpower* with author Mary Boone (July 1)
- Fun creative workshops, such as finger puppets, finger knitting, and stitching with artist Megan Tribble (July 8, 15, 22)
- Educational sessions on energy sources, electrical safety, and an entertaining show by Cowboy Buck (August)
- **Library in the Parks at Finch Park**: Enjoy crafts, outdoor activities, and book-related fun at Finch Park. This program is offered in collaboration with the Aberdeen School District, Aberdeen Parks and Recreation, and the Grays Harbor YMCA.
