Details:
Step into the glamour and energy of the jet age of air travel for an unforgettable evening.
Inspired by the style and spirit of 1970s air travel, this after-hours event invites guests to dress the part—whether in 70s-inspired looks or classic flight attendant fashion—and enjoy a night of live music, immersive storytelling, and vintage-inspired hospitality.
The evening begins with a reception in the Red Barn, where guests can mix and mingle and explore the Museum’s new temporary exhibition Runway to Runway. From there, the celebration continues in the outdoor, covered Aviation Pavilion with evening fare inspired by historic airline menus from The Museum of Flight’s Collection and live music from “The Vee Speeds” playing 70s favorites throughout the night.
A highlight of the evening will be a fireside chat with retired flight attendants sharing their spicy confessions and personal stories from their time in the skies—offering an entertaining glimpse into this fascinating chapter of aviation history.
Sky Lounge 1970 blends fashion, music, and curated bites to experience the human story of flight in a whole new way. Get your tickets today!
