Day of Lavender Single Herb Focus Intensive

Spend a summer afternoon immersed in the intoxicating loveliness of Lavender! Such a beautiful, magical, medicinal, useful plant! The class will include a discussion of lavender lore and magic as well as types, uses, growing, and care. The class includes lots of uses in foods and teas with many fabulous recipes such as how to make your own lavender honey and sugar, lavender lemonade, and ice cream, butters, and jellies and savories such as seasonings and sauces. As well we will engage in crafting with lavender in lavender wands, potpourris, and wreaths. We will also cover its use in skincare such as salves, lotions, steams, and bath bombs.
