Details:
Join us for **Weekly Music Lessons with JAM Kids** at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum! Held every **Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. ET** at The Learning Center, this program is designed for children in grades 4-8 and beyond. Through a partnership with **Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM)**, students will receive small group instruction on traditional acoustic instruments from the Appalachian region, including guitar, banjo, and fiddle. Instruments can be brought from home or loaned out during classes.
Lessons are **$5 each** or you can purchase a bundle of **10 lessons for $45**. Registration is required, and while it doesn’t guarantee your spot each week, it ensures you can participate in this enriching musical experience. Classes are capped at **30 students**, with registration on a first-come, first-served basis.
To register, download the necessary forms and bring them when you arrive, or complete them at the museum's front desk. For assistance or inquiries about scholarships, please contact Erika Barker at ebarker@birthplaceofcountrymusic.org.
This program not only fosters musical skills but also connects children with a rich cultural heritage. Don't miss out on this opportunity to instill a love of traditional music in your child!
