Cleveland-Cliffs Steel Corporation has applied for Permit-to-Install (PTI) P0139876 to add a Cogeneration Plant and make related modifications to the No. 3 Blast Furnace and material handling operations at its major-source steel mill in Middletown, Ohio. A public hearing will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Middletown City Council, 1 Donham Plaza, and will include a presentation, Q&A session, and opportunity to provide official comments. The public comment period is open until 11:59 p.m. on July 11, 2026.
