Paint & Weave Mandala Basket – Three Day Workshop

Three Day Workshop Dates,
Workshop 1 of 3: Thursday, November 5 | 6:30-8:30PM
Students will paint a dot mandala design on the wooden basket base.
Workshop 2 of 3: Thursday, November 12 | 6:30-8:30PM
Students will begin weaving and building the basket.
Workshop 3 of 3: Thursday, November 19 | 6:30-8:30PM
Students will finish the basket by rimming the edges and adding handles.
Join us for a creative multi session workshop where students will design and build a one of a kind woven basket.

In the first class participants will paint a solid wooden base of the basket using mandala inspired designs exploring color pattern and personal expression. In the following two sessions students will learn traditional basket weaving techniques as they construct the sides of the basket attaching and building directly from their painted base.

This workshop blends functional craft with meditative decorative design resulting in a unique handmade basket that reflects both structure and artistry.
