Rooted Living: Introduction to Horsemanship

Get up close and personal with Chrisholm MetroParks' equines! This class focuses on developing safe, confident, and respectful partnerships with horses and donkeys. Students will learn the foundations of horsemanship, including horse behavior and body language, safe handling practices, grooming, leading, tying, and basic groundwork exercises. This class focuses on groundwork, and there is no riding.
Cost: $10/person
Program for people ages 13+. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paid adult. Pre-registration is required.
