Join us for an engaging experience at Chrisholm MetroParks, where you can connect closely with our horses and donkeys! This class aims to foster safe, confident, and respectful partnerships with equines. Participants will explore foundational horsemanship skills, including understanding horse behavior and body language, safe handling practices, grooming, leading, tying, and essential groundwork exercises. Please note that this session focuses solely on groundwork; no riding will occur. The program is designed for individuals aged 13 and older, and all participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paid adult. Pre-registration is required, and the cost is $10 per person.
