Details:
Welcome to the Fork’s Foundation Class!
This course is designed to lay a foundation in fly fishing, specifically curated for 10-15 year olds. Instructor(s) will keep students engaged throughout the class with fun, hands on activities like casting games, finding and identifying aquatic insects in the river, ethical fish handling and more.
Students will meet at 1pm at Headwaters’ main location, in Rosman, and the class will wrap up around 3pm.
Any equipment needed for the class will be provided. Students will also have educational materials to take home after the class to use as a reference in the future, on their own!
Parents/Guardians may stay on property for the durations of the class (Forks of the River Taproom is next door, as well as picnic tables along the river), or drop students off. (There will be a form to complete for those who are dropping off/picking up students.)
