Attachment and Connection

Details:

Class: Attachment and Connection
Date & time: Wednesday, August 5 *6:00-8:00pm
FKCE Trainer: Rick Bazant, Psy. D.
Class Description:
Attachment can be defined as a lasting psychological connection between human beings—close interpersonal bonds strong enough to endure across space and time. These bonds are built on social interactions, many of which are non-verbal, and are reinforced over time. Connections involve the process of being felt by another person. Through these experiences, an infant learns to read and respond to social cues and emotional reactions. This connection leads to social intelligence, helping a child understand social behavior in others.
