Advance registration required. Ages 13-17. www.signupgenius.com/.../70A054DAEAB29AAF49... Get ready to get wet for this volunteer event! Assist Highbanks staff and volunteers as we walk in the river picking up trash along the river’s bank. What to Bring: Signed permission slip- attached to sign up genius link 5 gallon bucket (to help with trash collection) Teens are encouraged to bring a small backpack with insect repellent, hat/sunglasses, water bottle, hand sanitizer and sunscreen. What to wear: Closed toed shoes (old tennis shoes or other closed toed shoes comfortable to work in the river) Please wear shorts and T-shirts Highbanks will supply all the equipment. Expect to be working outdoors for 2 1/2 hours. Adults are welcome to stay and help or teens can be picked up at the completion of the event.
