Outdoor Sylvania Community Parks

Parks provide endless opportunities for us to explore, discover, play, and learn. The Olander Park System, also known as TOPS, is here to help local residents enjoy those opportunities. TOPS serves Sylvania, Ohio and the surrounding communities with five beautiful parks, plus fun, educational public activities and three facilities for event rental. From bike trails and boat rentals to swimming at the beach, TOPS' five parks offer something for nearly everyone. Closing hours vary based on sunset. Please see the website for the exact time. FOSSIL PARK & QUARRY RIDGE TRAIL: Parking lot and trail open 8:30am to 90 minutes before sunset. Fossil hunting quarry hours vary. Please see website for details. *Closed July 2 to July 5 for the Sylvania fireworks event. SYLVAN PRAIRIE PARK: Open 7:30am to 60 minutes before sunset WHETSTONE PARK: Open 7am to Dusk SOUTHVIEW OAK SAVANNA: Open Dawn to Dusk
