Heritage Sylvania unfolds a vibrant narrative of community resilience and preservation. Established in 1993, the Sylvania Historical Village transformed a neglected Main Street home into the Heritage Center Museum, safeguarding local history. Over the years, additional properties were integrated to create a captivating Historical Village featuring original and replica structures. After merging in 2019, the Sylvania Area Historical Society, Friends of the Lathrop House, and Sylvania Historical Village united their efforts to enrich public engagement through diverse programs, inviting all to explore our rich heritage.
