Sea Rocket Chapter Membership Meeting

We’re excited to welcome Sea Rocket Chapter member Russ Hansen as our July 22nd Membership Meeting speaker!! Russ is a native of Niagara Falls, NY and has lived in Titusville FL for the past 13 years. A lifelong outdoorsman, Russ is a lifelong hunter, fisher, and conservationist. He retired from the US Army after 21 years, and for the last 10 years worked for the National Park Service at Canaveral National Seashore. There, he worked as a park ranger and a biological science technician. He primarily worked for the sea turtle nesting program, while also working in invasive plant management and habitat restoration. He currently works for the US Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health and Inspection Service as a biological science technician where he continues to help with sea turtle conservation and removing invasive species to help restore natural areas and degraded habitats. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida in Environmental Management in Agriculture an
