The 18th Henderson Hummingbird Hurrah is a one-day annual event sponsored by Henderson Feathers (nonprofit 501c3) to celebrate the Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Free events will promote the understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of the Ruby-throated Hummingbird for people of all ages.
Speakers this year are Al Batt, Stan Tekiela, Jeff Miller & David Rice. There will also be hummingbird banding, Hummingbird Garden Tour, educational displays, food vendors, craft vendors, children’s activities, raffle prizes.
No admission charge!! Rain or shine!! Free fun for the whole family!!
Hummingbird Banding9 a.m. to NoonA licensed hummingbird bander will catch and band birds, allowing you to see them up-close and learn about hummingbird research at the Henderson Hummingbird Garden, 4th Street and Oak Street, Henderson, Minnesota.
Hummingbird Garden TourThe garden tour will be led by master gardeners, located at Henderson Hummingbird Garden, 4th Street and Oak Street, Henderson, Minnesota.
