The Green Free Library, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, proudly serves the Wellsboro community and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania as the largest library in the Potter-Tioga Library System. With over 62,000 items, including books, audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs, it provides access to online databases, Wi-Fi, computers, and printing services. The library runs diverse programs, from story hours and literacy initiatives to STEM activities. It also features a seed library, partners with Penn State Extension for gardening programs, offers scholarships, and honors WWII veterans. Support comes from the dedicated Friends of the Green Free Library.
