Local Author Talk Unearthing Colorado’s History

Join us at the Art & Heritage Center for a captivating Local Author Talk titled "Unearthing Colorado’s History," featuring local authors Sarah Hahn Campbell and Afton Rorvik. Sarah, a high school English teacher based in Denver, will discuss her latest book, *Her Place on the Map*, where she explores 18 Colorado mountains, lakes, and trails, uncovering the stories of the women they were named after. Afton, a Colorado native residing in Windsor, will share her insights from her recent work, *The 1896 Leadville Ice Palace*, which transports readers to the vibrant celebration of Leadville’s historic ice palace, built in 1896. While registration is not required, attendees can sign up for a reminder. Please note, the event is for adults (18+) and maximum attendance will be based on capacity.
