Details:
oin the Seneca Regional Chamber & Development Ambassadors and Seneca County EMS for a ribbon cutting and open house celebrating the completion of Seneca County EMS Station #3 on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10 AM. The event will take place at 495 Emma Street, Bettsville, OH 44815.
The opening of Station #3 represents the next chapter in a countywide effort to transform emergency medical services throughout Seneca County. In November 2022, voters approved a 2.5 mill levy to support the Seneca County Joint Ambulance District, bringing together five villages and 11 townships into a unified EMS system with a shared goal of providing above-average response times and high-quality emergency care.
Since then, Seneca County EMS has steadily worked toward that vision. In September 2024, community members gathered to celebrate the opening of EMS Station #4 in Bloomville. Less than a year later, EMS Station #5 opened in New Riegel, further strengthening coverage across southern Seneca County. Now, with the completion of Station #3 in Bettsville, another major piece of the county’s long-term strategy is coming to life.
Operating under the motto “Powerful Partnerships for Critical Care,” Seneca County EMS continues to demonstrate how collaboration, innovation, and strategic investment can improve services for residents throughout the county. These facilities are more than buildings. They represent a commitment to faster response times, modern equipment, enhanced emergency preparedness, and the ability to deliver critical care when and where it is needed most.
The new station will provide EMS personnel with a modern base of operations designed to support both current and future emergency medical needs. It also reflects the continued partnership between local communities, county leaders, EMS personnel, and voters who recognized the importance of investing in public safety.
Following the ribbon cutting, guests will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet EMS personnel, and learn more about the equipment, technology, and services that help keep Seneca County residents safe every day.
We invite the community to join us in celebrating this important milestone and the continued progress being made to strengthen emergency medical services across Seneca County.
