History Excursion to Boston

Join the Thomasville History Center on March 14 for an engaging History Excursion to Boston, Georgia, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Discover the rich history of this second oldest town in the county, which was relocated in the 1860s closer to the railroad station and officially incorporated in 1870. Boston, known for its vibrant community, boasts a Carnegie Library that continues to promote literacy and a bustling downtown with a strong agricultural and business sector. Participants will have the opportunity to explore historic sites, including churches and homes, while enjoying the company of fellow history enthusiasts. Transportation is provided, with the option to drive separately if desired. Please note that lunch is not included.
